🔥 Step 1: Tap Go Live
Open the Spota app and tap the Go Live button.
Your phone will request location access — this is what powers the live map.
Once approved, your car turns into a live pin that nearby users can see.
From there, you’re officially “on the radar.”
💡 Pro Tip: Only go live when you’re cruising, attending meets, or want to show off your build. You’re in full control of when you appear.
📍 Step 2: Let the Notifications Do the Work
As soon as you’re live, Spota automatically sends alerts to nearby spotters:
“🔥 @BoostedSRT just went live 2.3km away in a 750HP Challenger!”
Other users can open the map, find you, and start spotting.
You might even see cameras come out — that’s the magic.
📸 Step 3: Get Spotted and Approved
When someone spots your car, they can snap a photo or upload a short video.
The media goes straight to your inbox for review.
You’ll get a notification like:
“📸 You’ve been spotted by @PhotoKing!”
Accept it, and the shot appears in your Spots Tab, with the photographer credited.
Reject it, and it disappears — simple as that.

Privacy matters.
That’s why you can:
- End your live session anytime
- Stay visible only at a city-level, never your exact pin
- Use Ghost Mode to hide your route after each drive
Your car’s visibility ends the moment you tap “End Live.”
